Youthworx Project Announcement | June 2025

Big news for youth employment!

For 40 years, Futureworx has been a leader in the Nova Scotia employment sector, supporting clients through training and skills development to reach their full potential. We’re thrilled to announce that our Youthworx project in Truro, Nova Scotia has received funding through the Government of Canada’s Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS).

The YESS provides funding to organizations to deliver a variety of supports that help young people aged 15 to 30 overcome barriers to employment. Our Youthworx project in Colchester will offer skills training, paid work placements, and holistic supports. Thanks to this investment, 15 local youth will have the opportunity to build brighter, more empowered futures.
